I'm booked for Saturday November 7th through Monday November 9th. Rich, Tommy, Beth and some others are going out Thursday night so our trips will overlap. Not sure how much we'll see of each other, however, because their reason for going out is to see a UNLV football game and my reason for going out is, well, you know...

The plan is to play in the deep stack Saturday at the Venetian. Right now to be honest I'm feeling a little full of myself as far as poker goes. I've been killing home games lately (mine and others), I've been killing the Wednesday night rebuy at the Midnight Rose and I'm back to cashing at a high rate online. HORSE has been good to me and I also have a few high finishes in 900+ and 1000+ person hold'em tournaments including a second place out of 1023.

It's a no brainer to me to take a shot at a big money tournament the way I'm playing right now. Although I am about to take a week and a half break from poker (Disney, here we come!!) so hopefully I'll be able to get right back into form in time for this trip.

As usual I'll be staying at the IP for this trip, perfect location and cheap price! I fly out very early Saturday, get there in time for the Saturday tournament and fly home Monday evening.

Addendum: After my 10-or-so day layoff from playing poker on the Disney trip, I started out Monday cashing in half the tournaments I played in online and getting within a few people of cashing in the rest (4 from money in 100+ HORSE, 64th of 523 with 54 paying in a hold'em tourney), then went to the Rose and bubbled and only bubbled because I was playing to win rather than just cashing and made a very good play that didn't work out. So much for my concerns about the layoff hurting my game, I can't wait to get into this tournament Saturday morning ...
