PokerStars | | Currently 1 player(s) | | Welcome to the website dedicated to Pete's new Arvada poker game. This site will contain schedule, announcements, rules and other info. My address is on the FAQ page, but can only be seen once you've authenticated on the website either by logging in or clicking on the link you got in email if you haven't created a login.
| | Figured it was time to update this and stop talking about my impending basement finish (since it's done...).
| | The goal is to have a fairly regular poker game, something like once a month or every two weeks. As of May of 2018 we've had a steady crowd of 8-11 players every two weeks and have been able to keep a regular schedule. Our minimum number of players to go forward with a game is 5, so if it doesn't look like a game is going to get that many expect a cancellation or reschedule.
| | The basement has a full bar with a kegerator that holds two kegs of beer. You can BYO or donate to the "keg fund". I will provide snacks, chips, cards and the location. All you really need to bring is buy-in money and whatever you want to drink if you don't like my beer :-)
| | I cannot accept random "walk-ons". You must know someone in the game in order to join in due to Colorado State law. The law is that you must have a "bona fide relationship" with a fellow player, so friend, co-worker, neighbor, etc. "I found your website" or "I found your facebook page" unfortunately does not qualify you. |
