| Time for the annual trek to Vegas on "November Nine weekend".

| I'm going Saturday-Wednesday (5th-9th), Leon is going Friday-Tuesday and Hans and a friend are going Sunday-Tuesday. I believe Hans is at TI, Leon and I are in the luxury palace known as Imperial Palace.

| Yes, I did say after last time I was done with the IP. The place smells of smoke everywhere but in the rooms, the elevator situation is brutal to the point where I actually hope for a lower floor so I can take the stairs instead...but it's costing me $150 for four nights and it's a great location.

| The plan is to play mostly in various Venetian DSE IV tournaments. Caesar's has apparently decided not to try and compete w/ Venetian any more, they are running their fall poker series in October with their big buyin grand finale going on as we all arrive.

| I don't remember what the buyins were like at the DSE last November, but compared to this past summer they're down significantly. $340 buyin NLH at noon every day with two exceptions (aside from their finale): $550 buyin every Friday and there is one Sunday with a $1070 buyin.

| But the interesting part is the afternoon. Every day except Saturday they have a 3pm tournament. Half of them are a NLH bounty tournament, the other half are almost all "not hold'em". All kinds of Omaha, 8/b, mixed games, etc.

| My tentative plan is to play in the Saturday noon, then the Sunday 3pm PLO/PLO8 mix. Will probably just do a daily somewhere on Monday and then LO8/LS8 mix Tuesday at 3pm. The Sunday 3pm is the "least tentative", I will 99.9999% be playing in that one even if I make day two on Saturday because I will definitely buy in late after I finish up hold'em.

| Leon is going out Friday but not planning to play in the DSE tournament that day, he would have to have everything go perfectly (no flight delays, no traffic issues, fast checkin) to get from his plane to the tournament in time. He is going to join me in the Saturday tournament. I believe Hans plans to be in Vegas in time for the noon at Venetian on Sunday, Leon will also play in that but I will almost certainly be waiting for the 3pm |
