| Day 8 - Shoulda stayed in bed... |

| Well after the incredible day on Tuesday this was a tough one. And this will be a very short post today...

| Up early, had lunch at the buffet at Aria. I liked it a lot, Joann wasn't too thrilled.

| Over to the Rio, sat down at my table. I wasn't the first one out, the one guy shorter stacked than me busted out 2 hands in. I lasted only a few more.

| I had just lost 1000 chips in blinds and antes. I was going to be losing another 1000 chips in a few more hands. I decided to take a stand with A-9, since we lost one we were 7 handed and it's not too likely A-9 would be no good 7 handed.

| Well I was right, but unfortunately for me Mr Freddy Deeb elected to call me down with 6-7 off and hit not one but two sevens by the turn. 6 hands and I was done for the day.

| I was incredibly disappointed, I knew it was going to be tough even to get to the money but if I could have just hit one hand in the first couple of rounds...and I lasted all of 15 minutes...

| Over to Aria to get into the 1:00 tournament late, I bought in in round 4 knowing it would be a bit of a crapshoot getting in that late. In round #6 I got all in with 10s against A-Q suited and the lady drew out a flush.

| Hung out with Joann for a couple of hours, bought into the 7:00pm. Midway through the 3rd round I flopped a set of 9s!

| And ran into a set of aces.
|
| At that point I decided enough poker for today.
|
| By the time that was over we were hungry and had dinner at Planet Dailies in Planet Hollywood, and now we're back in the room to call it a night.

| The plan for tomorrow is the HORSE tournament at the Nugget. Hopefully things will turn around there! |
