| 02/20 UPDATE: The schedule came out, and it wasn't what I'd hoped for. Last year it seemed to me there were several great tournaments during the Main Event. This year, not so much...

| That doesn't really change the plan tho. I was not planning on playing poker every day on this trip, I'm still not going to play poker every day! This is going to be much more of a vacation than our WSOP trips usually are ... unless I am successful satelliting into the Main Event, in which case it's every day until I'm no longer in the Main.

| We have booked flights, we are not driving for a change, and as I said in the original post the hotel is already booked so we're all set!

| I just booked us Wednesday July 2nd through Sunday July 20th. Nothing is set in stone, but we saw rates we liked so we jumped on them.

| This will be mine and Joann's "long" trip, 2.5 weeks as we do every year.

| The plan it so be out for the Main Event. I have thoughts of buying in, but most likely I will try and satellite in. If that happens I'll hopefully be playing a lot of poker! But ... short of that, I can see maybe one bracelet event and then a tournament here and there, but definitely NOT poker every day. Blogging for this trip may therefore be spotty.

| The June trip will be all about playing poker. This trip will be intended as a vacation with some poker mixed in, again depending on the Main.

| We do have a time restriction because the Main typically starts 7/3 but we have a concert at home 6/29, so we will be heading out just in time for the main! |
